The work started, stripping down the old engine,

BUT when reading up on the cam we found out we needed valve reliefs in the pistons due to the new higher lift on the cam,
so a cutter was made so we did not have to remove the pistons, we are hoping this way of cutting the reliefs has not upset the balance of the pistons etc.

Cutting the valve reliefs for the the new cam into the piston crowns
Trial fit of new Duplex timing gear to camshaft. The crower cam prior to install
setting no1 piston TDC with dial gauge ready for dialling the cam in Cam all timed up, lifters fitted and every thing coated in cam lube,
New composite head gaskets. Stg3 heads fitted to block, and adjustable pushrods fitted and awaiting rocker gear
